Course Overview
This is a four-week course that provides the student with a review of the core topics covered in BC Chemistry 11. This course is ideal for students preparing to write the BCIT Chemistry 11 Challenge Exam (CHEM 0110), students who already have Chemistry 11 credit but need a review before entering a BCIT program, or anyone who wants to review the material in BC Chemistry 11. An online tutorial is scheduled with every offering of this course; the specific day/date and time the tutorial will be held is indicated within the Notes section of each offering. Instructor assistance by email or video-conference will also be available. Please note: This course is intended for those who have already taken BC Chemistry 11 or the equivalent. This course is not for credit and does not provide Chemistry 11 transfer credit or prerequisite status. If a student requires Chemistry 11 upgrading or prerequisite credit for a BCIT program they will need to write the Chemistry 11 Challenge Exam (CHEM 0110). Students must review their program entrance requirements to determine the minimum acceptable exam grade.
