B.C. Employer Training Grant
The B.C. Employer Training Program is a way for an employer to receive grant funding to pay for course tuition fees. The B.C. Employer Training Grant (ETG) provides funding to small, medium and large enterprises to support skills training for their workforce, including prospective new hires.
Municipal Learning Grants
Individuals working with business licenses and past, current, or upcoming construction projects in the City of Richmond or New Westminster can receive a 50% tuition grant from the City of Richmond or City of New Westminster.

StrongerBC future skills grant
Courses under our Essentials of Net Zero and Passive House Construction microcredential are eligible for the StrongerBC future skills grant. This microcredential is perfect for both designers and trades, fostering collaboration and providing exam prep (and exam) for the Passive House Institute International Tradesperson certification.
This grant covers 100% of tuition costs for BC residents up to $3500 total per individual. Interested students may take courses in fall 2024 and winter 2025. Students must have registered in all courses in their program prior to February 28, 2025
How to apply
Registration opens August 6th for the Fall 2024 offering. First, register for the courses, complete the StrongerBC future skills grant form, and apply through the Ministry portal within 24 hours. See the full steps on the StrongerBC future skills grant page.

Sponsorship is when a company or agency has agreed to be invoiced for your tuition. Whether you’re studying part-time or full-time, sponsorship may be an option for you.
