The School engages industry to ensure its programs are current and that BCIT graduates have the necessary skills for a successful technical career. Each program within BCIT has a Program Advisory Committee which reviews the needs and requirements of industry in relation to our programs.
Faculty members engage in applied research projects and professional development to ensure their skills are technically current.
Most of our programs are accredited with either provincial or national standards.
