The BCIT Simulation Program is one of the largest in Canada with more than 80 spaces dedicated to simulation. Currently we have 32 spaces for healthcare skill development, 16 spaces of mid fidelity and 4 spaces of high fidelity spaces with advanced AV technology. In addition to the clinical simulation spaces, the School of Health Sciences has 2 non-clinical apartment or flexible community rooms to support education for those professionals providing care in non-clinical environments. There are 8 pre/debrief spaces in the Health Sciences Centre (HSC). Additionally there are 3 classrooms that can be used for pre/debriefing as well.
In addition to spaces associated with simulation there are multiple public spaces that can support presentations and student group work.
