Access & Inclusion

Education that knows no boundaries

We believe everyone should have access to life-transforming education. By investing in our students, we’re also investing in businesses, industries, and economies across British Columbia and beyond. We owe it to the next generation to open up new opportunities for people from all walks of life to access the power of a BCIT education. A diverse and inclusive campus is a more invigorating and inspiring campus, filled with more diverse ideas and solutions.

Teaching & Learning

Learning reimagined

We will harness new technologies and explore new fields to equip students for success in tomorrow’s world. Through virtual and augmented reality, as well as other immersive interactive settings, we’ll simulate real-world environments and situations to better prepare students with job-ready skills. Students will experience workforce challenges in a realistic, yet safe and supportive learning environment, enabling them to think creatively and explore their own potential.

Campus Redevelopment

A living lab for the future

Our Burnaby campus will be transformed into a destination for applied learning and research innovation, and a dynamic community of discovery and interaction. New buildings and infrastructure will create unparalleled places to learn, innovate and co-create. Leading the way in sustainability with new greenways, bike lanes, on-campus housing and the daylighting of Guichon Creek will create an environment where students, educators, researchers, and industry partners will want to be.
