Tall Timber Student Housing

The BCIT Tall Timber Student Housing project will provide affordable, sustainable housing for 470 BCIT students. When complete the twelve-storey student housing facility will feature 470 beds in studio and single units, common spaces and support areas, and an outdoor accessible plaza. What does the project mean for me and the community?

The new Tall Timber Student Housing project goes alongside investment in student facilities like the new student plaza which will make the campus a vibrant and social space for all campus users.

The project & me

Students joining BCIT will have access to affordable housing that is situated at the heart of the Burnaby campus. Because our students currently travel to BCIT from across the lower mainland, expanding the availability of affordable housing at the Burnaby campus is a priority of our campus plan. The new student housing project goes alongside investment in student facilities like the new student plaza which will make the campus a vibrant and social space for all campus users.

The project & the community

The Tall Timber Student Housing Project is a major investment that will support development and jobs in Burnaby and the Lower Mainland. The investment in facilities will also continue the work to create a campus that is a hub for the region and where visitors can access and enjoy facilities and public services.
