The BCIT Alumni Association is committed to fostering the success of our more than 200,000 alumni who are making an impact here and around the globe.
Founded in 1979, the Association is a registered non-profit society governed by a board of volunteer directors and financed by affinity partnerships, sponsorship, and Institute support. Many alumni have dedicated their time, energy, and expertise to serve as volunteers on the Association’s Board of Directors, committees, and other initiatives. Their contributions are greatly appreciated by BCIT.
The Association is supported by the BCIT Alumni Relations Office, which is located at the Burnaby Campus.

The BCIT Alumni Association Board of Directors is key to the Association’s mandate and activities. The board is composed of up to 8 elected directors and Student Association President’s Representative (appointed). Board directors hold a renewable two-year term, with a maximum of three consecutive terms.
