BCIT announced in December 2023 that it is implementing Microsoft Teams across the Institute to unify our learning and working tools under the Microsoft 365 environment.
The dynamic capabilities of Teams meetings, chat, and file-sharing bring exciting improvements that will increase collaboration and productivity at the Institute.
Microsoft Teams is available to all BCIT employees. Zoom is no longer accessible to staff and full-time faculty. To minimize disruption to instruction and teaching, Flexible Learning faculty will have access to Zoom until June 30.

For instructors only: Class has replaced Bongo on the Learning Hub
We invite you to explore the advanced functionalities of “Class” for your online lectures such as automatic attendance tracking, hosting interactive online lectures, facilitating student feedback, and more.
BCIT’s Educational Technology Services will be offering training sessions on Class in August and September for all instructors. However, you can also request training from now until July by emailing BCIT_Studenthelp@bcit.ca or contacting 604-412-7444 (option 2).
